Blissful Care Homes provides high-quality residential, dementia and respite care across the South East. With multiple homes under its management, the team engaged us to help improve visibility in local searches and drive more relevant enquiries.

Families looking for care often begin their search close to home. In fact, 72% of placements happen within five miles of the family’s location. For care providers, strong local search performance is essential.

Our work with Blissful Care Homes has focused on improving their Google visibility and optimising their presence across key platforms, starting with two of their six homes.

Early progress

Although it’s still early in the campaign, results are already encouraging. Google visibility has increased significantly for both initial locations.

What we delivered

Our local SEO strategy was designed to strengthen Blissful Care Homes’ presence in each of its local communities. Rather than treating the group as a single company, we optimised each care home to compete effectively in its local area.

Our work included:

Onsite SEO improvements

We carried out a full audit of each home’s website pages, identifying gaps and opportunities in how they were presented to both users and search engines. We added clear location markers to page titles, meta descriptions and headings, as well as refining content to better reflect each home’s care offering. We also ensured each page had unique, relevant copy and properly structured schema data to improve clarity for Google.

Google Business Profile optimisation

We updated and enhanced each home’s Google Business Profile with accurate business information, service categories, and contact details. High-quality imagery was added to showcase the home’s environment, with a focus on both exteriors and communal living areas. We also advised on consistent review responses and category refinement to improve visibility in relevant search results.

Directory link building

We identified and submitted each home to trusted local and sector-specific directories, ensuring consistency of business information across the web. This process supports Google's ability to verify the business’s legitimacy and location, strengthening its local search position. We prioritised high-authority directories and removed duplicate or inaccurate listings where necessary.

Performance tracking and reporting

We established custom tracking to monitor local visibility, ranking improvements, and engagement with each Google Business Profile. Weekly reporting allows the client to see progress over time and helps us adjust strategy as needed to continue improving performance.

We are continuing to roll out this approach across the remaining locations in the group, with the aim of improving visibility and enquiry volume across the board.
